    Comfort Suites has a 100% satisfaction "guarantee." do not count on it. We had 3 nites reserved for two rooms. Both rooms had been smoked in and "scented" to cover it. We complained and were told they were non-smoking rooms. Nobody even checked. help refused to move us because they were full. Local management gave us a 20% reduction for one night in an awful room. Comfort Suites will do nothing because Savannah is a local franchise. Stay at your own risk. And do not expect Southern hospitality.

    After reading some other reviews, was worried about this property. fears were unfounded. the property was clean; the help was friendly, and the location was good. Yes, there's public housing across the street, in addition we never had a problem walking back to our property. felt safe, and would definitely recommend this property to others. Compared to the other prices of the hotels nearby, this property was both economical and convenient.

    When made reservation, was told that hotel was in the historic district. Wrong! it is 3 blocks away from it and right next to a housing project!!! hotel room was musty and damp. Could only get 1 pillow for the pull out double bed - they were out! breakfast meal was okay. Would NOT stay here again!

    Arrived late at night. Awoke 3am by disgusting odor fron heat unit. No hot water in shower at 7am. Dirt and dust under bed and behind couch. Told manager who said "so what"!

  • not so hot - Hotel is located at heart of Bay St / River St tourist stuff, with on-site parking. Unfortunately, 4th of July weekend brought a spring break mentality to Savannah, and this property in particular...l . . .
  • Skip this one.. - We had scalding hot water in the tub even when the faucet was turned to cold and it was a handicapped rm. filthy, musty, and toilet ran constant. With all the nice places to stay in Sav, go somewhere . . .
  • terrible hotel - everyone employed at this property was terribly rude. the lobby was the onlything spotless in the property. they refused to give us water glasses, utensils, and would not allow us to park in the hotel . . .
